Change default angle-snap

Is there any way to change the minimum angle that angle snap snaps to? To be clear, I want to change the angle without disabling angle-snap. Thanks!

You can hold shift to get finer angle snap increments. This works both while placing the part and using WASDQE or when you're using the rotate gizmo. It also allows finer angle snap for the location when you're placing the part and when you use the translation gizmo. 

Unfortunately I don't recall exactly what angle increments it gives you. Maybe 5 degrees?

The Editor Extensions mod "Adds radial/angle snapping at 1,5,15,22.5,30,45,60, and 90 degrees. Angles are customizable."

Yes, five degrees is correct, I have "shift times nine and the world is mine" memorized and hard-coded into my brain. For some reason I often find myself needing to rotate things exactly 45 degrees and nine shift-snaps will do the trick.
