Minmus ice?

Okay, so I get the ice on Minmus is actually frozen methane, but it\'s still in the habitable zone. In order for methane to freeze, it has to be REALLY cold. That close to the sun, and any methane would have been vaporized off the surface.

So why is there ice of any sort on Minmus?

Where do you see ice ? I see flat areas and bumpy areas.

The 'lakes' could just as well be cold lava or just soil deposited there bu some weird geological process.
