New engines, hyperloop etc...

Recommended Posts

We need radially mounted engine between thrust and weight of 24-77 "Twitch" Liquid Fuel Engine and Mk-55 "Thud" Liquid Fuel Engine

Electric and internal combustion engines for ships and submarines.

With all that hype around hyperloop IMO we should have tracks, trains and hyperloop pressurised tunnel.
I know part counts, but tunnel and tracks could be permanently placed on a desired location, so physics wouldn't apply to it. Of course we should be able to demolish it.

Some times I don't know if more parts are needed, or if the balance of the existing parts instead needs a serious look over to try to close these perceived balance holes first. What do we lose from simply reducing the thuds mass and thrust?

I don't see what an internal combustion engine adds that fuel cells and a little imagination does not, and besides facilitating submersible's and other ocean going vessels directly Would just draw ire from the "this is kerbal SPACE program" crowd.

Same goes for trains, and I'd question what purpose they'd even serve at least not without a big overhaul to how we build bases first.
