Any way to export the Kraken model?

I would like to make an animation about the Kraken, and since I already have a Kerbal rig, and a .craft importer, the only things left to do are to get the planet models, and to somehow export the Kraken model on Bop, to then rig it. But the only ripping/extracting tools are very complicated and I can't get my head around them, and the planets are built into the game, so they don't have any .mu files. :P Can anyone help?

3D Ripper DX. Launch KSP through the ripper, go to Bop, then hit F12 to rip the scene. Make sure you tick the "also capture to Wavefront .obj" checkbox in 3DRDX so you don't have to install any plugins to import the scene.

Then import the file to Blender/3ds Max/whatever, find the Kraken, select it (it'll most likely be made up of several pieces, or "draw calls"), invert the selection and delete to get rid of everything else. You'll probably need to scale and/or rotate the Kraken model afterwards to make it look right as it may be almost completely flat on one or more axes.

Thank you! I might try it out!
