1.0.5 - Frequent Crashes

Recommended Posts

I have frequent crashes on this 1.0.5 install with a fair number of mods. I'd appreciate any advice. Thanks!

The usual, from your log:

d3d: failed to create 2D texture id=11281 w=2560 h=1600 mips=1 d3dfmt=22 [out of memory]

Probably means what it says. Either you have too many texture-heavy mods, or something is leaking badly.

Might want to look into the log spam issue too. I see a bunch of missing assembly errors mentioning KSPUtil, as well as errors from PlanetShine and ModuleLifeSupport (USITools isn't loading?). Far too much (100MB+!) mod-induced noise in that log to make sense of. I'd start with checking all mods are the correct versions (1.1 mods will not run on 1.0.5 for example), and check you haven't missed any dependencies.

---

You also appear to have mods installed that are not on your list, maybe pulled in as dependencies - DistantObjectEnhancement and BoulderCo (Environmental Visual Enhancements) at a glance (or at least textures from those mods), but again, too much noise in that log to make much sense of.

What are EVE textures doing in there?
