Why do I not have enough battery power?

Hi fellow kerbanaughts!

I have a space station orbiting Kerbin which used to have enough battery stored electric to make it through the night, but now it doesn't!

Nothing has changed, and it is still fully recharging during the day, so I guess that the batteries must be degrading? Do they do this over time? If not, why do I not have enough power now?

Did you dock anything to it? Does it charge 100% over the day? Did you change the orbit?

I noticed the same thing in 1.0.5 with my 1.0.4 space stations. I think the MPL drains more energy in 1.0.5.

Did your station change orientation with respect to the sun? That should happen naturally as Kerbin revolves around, and can affect solar panel effectiveness.

Nothing else docked to it, I've only ever played 1.05 and yes; I am fully recharging each and every day.

Just double checked, and guess what; the problem no longer exists! I guess it's problem solved for now, but I know it wasn't behaving last time I checked up on it, I spent many orbits trying to figure it out.
