screen starts drifting by itself mid-game w/no inputs

After working in tutorial section in 1.1 the screen will inadvertently start drifting from upper right toward lower left. In the sessions where I am inside the vehicle assembly building, I can hover over the talking dialogue box and it will stop moving. But when outside on the launch pad, it will not stop at all. The only way to stop it is to completely kill the game and restart it.
