how to configure rover wheels manually on the mun

Recommended Posts

Hi, I built my rover in the rocket hangar and didnt realize that there were two types of symmetry so I ended up placing my wheels in diagonal pairs .  Once I landed on the mun, I realized that the steering is all messed up but I cannot change the steering inversion or disable steering on any given wheel without changing the same input on the back diagonal wheel.  Is there anyway to configure parts manually and individually via right click if they were placed together using symmetry?  Thanks so much in advance!

I too would like to know.

One big difference between 1.0.5 and 1.1 is that certain things, if placed symmetrically, cannot be managed individually. This is a particular pain for landing legs, because if you land on a slope you cannot lock suspension or lift one leg and leave the others as they are, because this change affects all of them.

So I'd guess that the same applies to rover wheels - and I'd like to know if there is any workaround or setting that could change this because it is a major pain in some circumstances.
