Surveyor I probe

Recommended Posts

It looks cool, and it flies excellently. With the Surveyor 1, I already have a number of candidate craters for the Silisko Anomaly. I will later be sending a Summer Sky X to investigate each of them. Once the position is confirmed, I will be putting down a Werewolf class Munbase.

Very nice probe if I do say so myself. Good job! I\'m thinking the bottom right crater would be the best, for the angle the picture is at, it\'s big so you have an easy target, and it looks as if your orbit is almost right over it so it would require less adjustments to land there.

Surveyor 1 is an orbital probe. The Summer Sky X spaceplane is my favourite lander - it has rover landing gear, so I can drive it to the target if my landing is off. I\'ll be using that to land, and then I\'ll be looking for the Silisko Anomaly - the Equatorial Munolith.

Though strangely enough, the Muon Detector located an anomaly both on the near and far side, each had to be within 50KM. I may have found a second one too.

The Pit Anomaly can come later.
