That\'s what I thought, too. The laws of physics are essentially the same as ours, except for a couple of subtle differences like everything has substantially more mass in the kerbal universe.

Yeah, the 'other universe' is a good explanation for why a tiny 600 KM sphere has a gravity as strong as Earth\'s one.

Possibly, the disrepancy between mass, size, and physics could be resolved by placing the system in a different universe based around magnetic monopoles instead of normal atoms. These would have much, much more mass/cm3 than normal matter.

Different universe, where the dominant element is Explodium which has about 11 times more mass than the materials of Earth.

I too agree with the alternate Universe idea. Perhaps in the Kerbal\'s Universe, the Higs-field is much more powerful, thus resulting in more mass.
