500 Internal Server Error, when editing a post

In trying to update some of my mod threads, for new releases, I'm suddenly getting a "500 Internal Server Error", even if I make no changes before saving, or if I try to shorten the message by removing a lot of content. Any edits to the OP are throwing the error when I save changes. This is happening for the OP for Color Coded Canisters, for example.

Update: Significantly shortening the OP, by deleting a lot of content from it, allowed me to save changes in the CCC thread. I can't put the entire change log back in, and had to remove most of the older "original" post that was in there.

 

Is there a new maximum message size being ungracefully enforced?

Another update: I managed to edit the FuelTanksPlus OP as well, but I had to remove the installation instructions and entire change log.

I forgot to come back and mention that this morning, after the database errors and poor performance, once that was fixed, these issues appeared to be fixed as well. I suspect that the problems with editing larger messages last night was an early symptom of this morning's forum problems.
