New Hire Cost

Hi.  I am wondering if there is a mod (prefer a lite one) that can either suppress or greatly reduce the cost of new hires. 

I have never really attempted a career and pushed the hiring process to a limit to possibly experience a max cost, but have seen it greatly exceed how far I want it to go with my plan for my agency. 

I greatly appreciate any help or suggestion.  Even if it's just modifying a game config, I'm all ears.

There are two mods I'm aware of that deal with this.

Custom Barn Kit is a mod that lets you change just about anything about the space center - including how expensive new hires are (both base value and cost scaling by Kerbal amount). Due to the way it works, you can (and in fact must) explicitly set up every change you want to make. Everything not explicitly changed remains at default values. The advantage of that is that it won't change anything you don't want changed.

Astronaut Complex Overhaul, as the name suggests, only mods the Astronaut complex. It is simpler to set up and use than Custom Barn Kit. However, it also makes more changes - it changes not only the cost, but also the whole hiring process. This may be something you want, or it may be something you don't want, I don't know. Also, unfortunately, this mod is not yet updated to 1.1.2, while Custom Barn Kit is.
