modifying contract deadlines

Hello,

Some of my contracts got a bit screwed up, and I need to change the deadlines on those, it seems like there is little to no documentation on contract config in the persistent file, and looking at it there is no obvious value I need to change. Can someone please point me in the right direction to change the contract deadline?
