More of the story is on other pages of this thread, so here are the links to the others

This is the only one!

Well, here we are.

This is a Sandbox game, and stuff will go wrong,

Kerbals will die PERMANENTLY and cannot be revived! unless something is mission critical and i have to quickload.

Alright!

So i started making a quite primitive plane. Not advanced by any standards. Jeb got it up, but immediately went back down again to the runway, to avoid crashes. Jeb survived.

[Placeholder for the picture that i will upload when i get the chance]

I made a more advanced plane using the MK2 parts, and got it about 3/4 of the way to the island airbase before losing control and resorting to parachutes. Jeb, Bill, Bob, and Val were all in the plane, but survived.

A small rocket was made, flown by Jeb again (I need to give that guy a break,) it broke the atmosphere, and Jeb survived.

[No picture]

After building this rocket, i will say, there needs to be a new SRB. The Thumper is too large, but the Hammer is too small. Ugh.

Burny, Doley, and Melming will be flying this today.

And we landed in the water just off the coast. Nobody died.

I'm gonna post this NOW, but im not done with this session.

Part 2: Will it space, or will it ground?

Spirits are high at the KSC as the first Mun rocket is being launched. The pilot, Jeb, will be flying alone. The designers helped as experienced members of orbital mechanics. so this will likely work,

[plchldr]

The ship easily got into space, slight wobble, but it was functioning perfectly.

[plchldr]

Burn went fine, and Mun encounter aquired.

[plchldr]

Mun orbit!

[plchldr]

The ship landed sideways. Jeb crashed and died trying to recorrect it.

[plchldr]

I guess the anwser's obvious.

"It will space, but it can also ground"-Jeb's Last Words

Rest In Peace, Jebediah Kerman.
