I was recently on the ILA 2016 (Berlin Air Show) and there was a space pavillon. Made some pictures of the satellite models and stuff from there to have some inspirational real life templates for tinkering.
If anyone is interested in having a look you can have if here (www.idenwen.de). They even had struts :0.0:

Since there where no really special aircraft, except of the Fouga Magister maybe, there is not much for inspirational plane designs.
