How to stop the launchpad exploding?

Using RO I am now building craft over 1500T and when I ignite my solid boosters the launchpad explodes. I am using clamps and the boosters are not touching the pad.

Is there a cheat or other fix to make the pad indestructable for the launch of this craft?

 

EDIT : Just checked and a staggered firing of the boosters stops the pad exploding so it is just the thrust causing it, not the weight of the craft.

If anyone knows a way to force the pad to not explode without restarting my career I`d still like to know.

Yeah, there is an upper limit to how much firepower the launchpad can take before it just collapses.

Try putting some Structural Panels under the engines (attach the panels to the launch clamps). The panels should block the thrust from hitting the pad long enough for the rocket to get far enough to prevent damage.

Interestingly, the staggered firing of the boosters means the craft actually settled onto the pad and then all the boosters fired into it from closer than they were on the clamps yet this did not explode the pad.

Thank you for your post, I shall try that later but I do not want to miss this launch window and it would take a month or two (KCT) to apply your fix. If anyone knows of a setting, mod or other way to force the pad to not explode I would be grateful.

That`s what I was wanting, thank you very much. I had been looking at cheats and physics, didn`t think of looking in gameplay.
