Experimental Parts Stay Experimental After Unlocking Tech

I'm having a weird bug(?) where experimental parts stay experimental, even after I've unlocked the tech. What's stranger is that I remember having the contract to test those parts, but when I look at the contract history, they are nowhere to be found. They are neither completed nor cancelled nor active. 

The mod I have installed are FAR, Kerbal Construction Time, StageRecovery, Kerbal Alarm Clock, Ven's Stock Revamp, Waypoint Manager, and Mouse Aim Flight

Not sure why they are not showing up in completed contracts but if you have a contract to test a part that is in a section of the tech tree that you have not yet unlocked you will not gain access to the part.  The only way to unlock a part as far as I am aware is to unlock the relevant level of the tech tree (accessible in the R+D building).

I have the same problem, Imma try getting rid of the stage recovery since is the only mod that we have in common

 

Update:

Nope... It is not the problem. I still had the same problem after removing stage recovery
