Tracking station/map view problems

Hi i have found a weird bug, i have accepted a contract to position a satellite in a equatorial orbit at about 7000km up, but all I get is a weird polar orbit and a equatorial orbit out past the mun!

I would love to show logs but I dont know how to get logs from steam ksp to here on the forums, I have no idea where they are, so if someone could help out that would be lovely!

Hmm, not sure on your specific issue, but to find your logs in steam you right click KSP in Steam, click on Properties, then in the Properties box, click Local Files, then Browse Local Files.

EDIT:  Just found this in devnotes which could be something to do with your issue.  States:

" One of the issues that came up last week related to the way career mode generates random orbits with the new orbit code. To cut a long story short contracts were generating erroneous parameters with the new orbit code and saving them, causing persistent issues. To fix this, Brian (Arsonide) edited the orbit generation algorithm to be more modular which allowed him to change it to regenerate only the orbital parameters that were faulty, while leaving the others intact. Because the code had to be re-designed, this proved to be an excellent opportunity to make it much easier to work with for devs and modders alike. "

This thread tells you where to find the logs. When you do, please post them to a file hosting site (pastebin works great) and post the link here, instead of putting the whole log here directly.
