Quicksaving problems on mac

I can't quicksave on my mac. I read the wiki and pressed what the wiki told me but it doesn't work

I remapped the command to numberpad 5.

Quicksave works fine for me, do you require the Fn key to be pressed to do F1-F12? I have my keyboard setup to do the function keys by default, and holding Fn will do the other things (like brightness, volume, etc)
