KSP ksc and USA's ksc

I just realized this, and am probably going to get hated for saying this, but NASA uses the term KSC for Kennedy Space Center, in Orlando Florida! It is a coincidence that we here on the forum call our space center KSC as well but for Kerbal Space Center.

In all seriousness, I\'m not sure—as I recall, players started referring to KSC before Squad did, and everyone seemed to realize the duality of the name. I always thought it was an intentional overlap.
