Land the BFE-5000 on the moon

Recommended Posts

The BFE uses 1 tank of fuel so fast, it\'s i would almost say impossible, but more likely near impossible to use just 1 tank to take off, enter escape velocity towards the moon, get into a decaying orbit around the moon and then land.

It\'s not impossible.

It should be noted that the challenge is 'Land the BFE 5000 on the Mun.'

There is no requirement that the BFE-5000 be thrusting at any point during the trip. As a result, the challenge could be restated as 'Land an extremely-unweildy mass-50 payload on the Mun.'

you are allowed to change the part.cfg like i did.

To be honest, it\'s not really a challenge if you are allowed to change the part.cfg. I could easily make it have a huge amount of thrust with a miniscule burn rate and an unnoticable amount of weight, making it possible to launch and land on only 1 tank.

You did see the screenshot he attached right? He only used a half-tank.

The real challenge is to do this without cheating any more than the BFE-5000 itself already does.
