Mission to Moho. any tips?

Ok, I was just getting concerned since I couldn't plot out a <3000dv capture burn, but that was with the Ap still outside Eve. I'll bring it down to just within since dv gets very expensive at that point and hope for the best. Thanks for the assistance.

Yes. No. Maybe.

If you use some porkchop plotter to plan the transfer, this may well happen. As mentioned in yesterday's Moho thread, the easy way of getting there is to treat it as rendezvous. Launch when Kerbin is at it's AN/DN with Moho, set up a phasing orbit and only then work towards getting an encounter.

Takes a little longer in calendar time, but can be done with low TWRs and is pretty reliable to require no more than 4000-4500m/s all told.

If you transfer directly from lko, then do the plain change and then wait for a good closest approach to do a course correction to get a Moho encounter, you can do it with 3000 m/s.

And if you align the planets properly, you can get one for less.
