Please consider reintegrating the UI Opacity Slider in the settings options.  It was available in Settings from the Main Menu as well as from flight in 1.0.5, but is no longer present in 1.1.3.  It is easy enough to change in settings.cfg, but it certainly is more user-friendly, in my opinion, to have the option available in game.  (Please note, I did not have the opportunity to play 1.1.0 - 1.1.2 so I cannot confirm if this option was present in those versions or if it was lost during the UI overhaul.  I am running KSP on Linux and have checked the settings in both 32- and 64-bit.)
