What to excpect/wish for in 0.16?

0.16 is getting closer!

EDIT: Having looked at only the announcement threads and not the development threads, my comment about how

there\'s little information out on 0.16 is deleted as it is no longer valid. Instead of focusing on what to expect, which

can be read on the forums (thanks for bringing that to my attention:) The new focus is on stuff to wish for.

There are a lot of features that would make me excited, and just the idea of a multiplayer-bit in the far future

makes me salivate. What kind of features would you like to see? (0.16, 0.17, 0.18...)

My own wishlist right now would be

1: A visual/sound effect as my spaceship/plane passes mach 1

2: Mun mining equipment (mining for fuel or precious metals for new parts?)

3: A way to mark a coordinate on a planet or moon, to be shown on the gyro-ball-thing for easier navigation

to the base/arc you want to land close to

4: parts for making my own cars/rovers

5: a water effect when flying close to the water with afterburners on XD

What\'s your wishlist, and what do you expect from 0.16?

The 0.16 Update Thread lists all the main changes that are taking place. Anything else they haven\'t announced will not be included, unless it is part of one of those, or something they added because they had a bit of extra time. It\'s best not to think of totally random stuff they haven\'t even hinted at; it\'ll probably just be a disappointment when it isn\'t included. Wild speculation and suggestions tend to be for future updates, not ones already well into experimental releases (the point where they release it to the tester team to iron out all major and minor bugs they can; no major changes happen from that point on).

It\'s a little late to request stuff for 0.16, since it\'s very close to release. Maybe wait until beta development.

0.16 is in feature lock so no new features will be added. SQUAD makes their own schedule about what updates will be worked on, there is not much users can do to impact their scheduling.

Your question about what people would like to see is pretty much what the 'Dev Development' and 'Suggestions' boards are for: People post what they think would be a good feature, and that being something that they obviously want in the game.

Before making a new thread in the Suggestions forum, please search and make sure it hasn\'t already been posted.
