My save has corrupted in a very specific way, please help!

Hi guys

My all-my-hard-work-and-focus save which has hundreds of hours of work in it has decided to die in a rather odd way. I can load it and its craft and what not but all of my decouplers have ceased to function, radial, inline, and launch clamps. 

They just release a puff of smoke when activated through staging, don't clear out of staging, don't do anything.

I've tried on old craft where I know that things were working and they now aren't. I've started a new save on my install, and the decouplers work fine, ergo the issue is within the save. I've tried rolling back to older save points, no change. HELP

I'll be crushed if I have to start again. Just got my remote tech constellation set up properly

Without a log it's pretty hard to know what is going on for you.
