Stock 0.15.2 Mun Rover 3

I belive I have my favourite Mun rover desing.

Its not just a Mun rover, its fully capable of getting to Minmus too and has to discard an entire stage with almost full fuel!

It uses only 1 T45 and 12 T30s each with 4 tanks of fuel, when counting the lander there are 57 fueltanks.

All of the lander engines are angled towards the middle center of the ship, this gives absolute stability for howering, wich is what I had most trouble with when landing before.

As you can see the wheels on the lander are slightly angled, this is to help with the situations if it decides to drift and would collide sideways, the engines will not be the first to take the hit.

Altough accidents can happend, This is what happends if you release a stage befoe its out of fuel and you somehow dont blow up from it.

The runaway parts took all of the 5 lander fueltanks, leaving me to be pushed around by 7 full throttle rockets. The parachute was my only hope of getting out of this mess.

On a side note, thanks to trydyingtolive I got to change the hidden settings. I have come to the conclusion that setting both of the settings to 3 is desinged to create race tracks whe you go to Sun orbit trough an encounter and escape.
