Xbox One controls help

Hello, i'm trying to complete a rescue mission and can't figure out the controls on xbox to switch to the other ship when i'm within 2.5 range. The equivalent of [ and ] on PC.  I tried going into the tracking station to board from there but no luck. Ive been able to switch my view to the ship but I had no option to EVA or even a kerbal portrait. Any help? thanks!

I've not been able to switch to a derelict ship on rescues, even within a few meters. However, when I'm a couple of meters away, I click on the hatch of the stranded capsule and EVA the Kerbal.
