Stacked parts separating under thrust

I'm really stumped as to what's going on here.  I've never seen this before, except sometimes with docking ports.  And even that stuff has gone away with KJR.

This part is just a solid rocket booster, stacked on top of the main LES rocket/tower/bpc.

Anybody got any idea what's going on?  All I did was create a new model for the part. Original never did this.  EDIT: maybe I just never noticed it.. but now it does do it.

Also, after the jettison engine burns out, the parts jump back together.

I reloaded the original part that I had made and it is doing the same thing.

And, oh joy, it does not do it in a stock install.  So now to isolate which other mod is causing it to do weirdness...

Oddly enough, it is Kerbal Joint Reinforcement. That was the first mod I loaded into the stock install beyond my own.  After adding it the problem is replicated and after I remove it again it goes away. I really don't remember this happening before yesterday, though.

First of all, awesome LES. Second, maybe you have some funkiness going on with your attach nodes?
