Permission to Revive an Old Mod

So recently I got my hands on the SpaceTech Escape Pod mod from 0.18 and I'm working on updating it to 1.1.3-- does anyone know how I could get in touch with the original dev to get permission to post it?

I'm not in position to comment on that.There was already debate about his other mod.

If a mod is from before we required licenses and none is included, it is assumed to be All Rights Reserved unless the author says otherwise. Sorry, but you can't appropriate someone else's work for redistribution without permission.
