Need some computer help...

I\'m not really sure if this belongs here, but for some reason, I just can\'t post pics on the KSP forum, or anywhere else on the \'net. When I attempt to do so, and hit 'New Topic', 'Post', ect, the website freezes when it tries to process the post, and when I forcefully try returning to the forum, the post is either not there or corrupted. I usually get a 500 error upon freezing. This issue only started recently, and as I said before, it\'s not limited to just the KSP forum.

Another thing of note, posting tiny images such as 2x2 tests work perfectly, but it\'s only whil posting/attatching larger pictures that I run into this issue.

-System specs-

System brand: iMac

OS: Mac OS X v. 10.6.8

Processor: Intel Core i3

Memory: 4 gb

More can be made available upon request, and if anyone\'s curious, I\'m using Chrome, but I run into this issue with any browser.

Shaw. They\'ve been having some server issues of late, but I can\'t see why this would be a problem, as the Macbook works perfectly.

Try using an image hosting site, like imageshack?

Nope. Only sites like Imageshack or Phanfare, where you can upload directly to the site, work.

But, that\'s beside the point. The point is that the server doesn\'t respond when I try attaching an image.

what about other attachments? .craft files and the like?

.craft files are fine. Another thing, it (posting pics) works just fine on my Macbook air, which is a little newer than this computer, and has even worse specs.

what format are the pictures in? jpg?

Posting only works with small .jpg images and SOME .pngs. Anything else/too large gets a 500 error or comes out corrupted.

Files might be over 5000KB. If they are, then you can\'t use the forums for them. If they aren\'t it might be the web browser, what browser do you use?

Try a different web browser or re-install Chrome.

See if the same happens on Firefox.

Yeah I feel like this is web-browser related. Try a different browser, or try re-installing as mentioned above.

It may be some setting that\'s funked over. Who knows what, and who knows why
