How to generate/locate output log file?

I've seen people talk about how these are helpful but not about how to actually find them. Apart from that I don't have a particular problem, just want to look through it and do my own debugging.

Okay, found it now, but,

"Here is where you can find the log:

• Windows: KSP_win\KSP_Data\output_log.txt (32bit) or KSP_win64\KSP_x64_Data\output_log.txt (64bit) "

This could be clearer by specifying that "KSP_win" is the game's root directory. I was trying to find this folder thinking it was something else (albeit without functioning search on my OS) in a location like appdata, but my game simply isn't under that name.
