Ascending/Descending Nodes Disappear Upon Intercept?

Recommended Posts

So, I am not sure if this is a bug or a design choice, but in 1.1 (the previous release), when you have a planetary intercept, it will no longer display the ascending or descending nodes.

For example, setup a close approach to Duna where either the ascending/descending node appears at some point before the intercept.  Now adjust your orbit to intercept ... the nodes for ascending/descending will disappear.

Is this a bug or a design choice?  I hope it is a bug because that would seem like a silly design choice :)

Career or Sandbox? Are you sure they're not gone because of an encounter? Career mode will limit what information you see depending on the level of your Tracking Station. You also can't see your A/D nodes when you get an encounter with the target planet.

Oh yeah, Career mode.  And yes, I meant encounter :) ...  I am confused though because this is information that used to display ... then in 1.1 it no longer shows them for planetary encounters even with a max-out tracking station.
