so after owning the game for 2 years and chaulking up nearly 3000 hours of actual playertime

i have to so recently ive been playing( as i do when an update is due to be released)
and my 4 year old daughter as been ill lately (nothing major) so shes been watching me play via the steam link

today she said daddy lets go to mars so well duna will do so im building my rocket typically apollo style rockets,
during this time shes asking me all these questions about delta vm parachutes air brakes, and various other things that i guess a kid would be curious off  and it  dawned on me i could actually answer the questions, i had the answers to some questions a four year old really shouldnt be asking, and prob the average joe wouldnt know

so its a double thank you

1, for making my daughter ask the kinda questions some college kids wouldnt want to know
2, for providing me with the answers and making me feel a little smarter than the average joe

(ps not sure where i should post this )

Nice post, bloke.

It is a beautiful game and I personally find it is making me want to learn and just keep on learning.... both inside KSP and outside - although we all know the former is most important :-P

I wish there was someone in RL who would share my enthusiasm for this. For now I shall continue to sound like a raving lunatic evangelising about this wonderful creation of Squad's until maybe one day someone out there says "Me too!"

I feel you, everyone around me is like, 'what the kerbal, how can you even understand all of this', 'how is it that you can play this game for so long' or 'what is the goal in the game, when does it end.'

For so far, no-one i showed this game is playing it too :(

yeah most of my friends dont get it either ... my response is simple had we not stopped at the moon and just hung out in leo for the past 47 years i would be in space right now ... as thats not likely to happen for a few hundred years now this is my only fix
