Launcher Changes?

I just booted up the KSP launcher and saw this:

Normally, I get a screen from the 1.0 launch that looks like Mission Control - Kerbals high-fiving, that sort of thing. I even checked my old 1.0.5 launcher, and got the same thing. What changed, and is anyone else getting this?

I have not touched 1.2, by the way; this is not caused by the pre-release.

I never use the launcher.  In fact, I delete it because I'm a bit obssessive about 'extra' files on my computer.  (Ha, you can imagine how much I'm "enjoying" Win 10).
