Building things modification

I just saw this video of new Planetary Domes

It made me wonder, is there a mod out there which lets Kerbals build stuff in EVA? Like gather/carry resources or whatever and build on any planet, or maybe even in the atmosphere or in deep space? Cause I think it's unrealistic or more likely impossible to transport such huge structures in rockets or spaceplanes...

Yep...

Check out KIS which gives Kerbals an inventory so they can carry parts around and attach them in EVA (It also adds new storage container parts for you too store parts in)...

...Then there is KAS which adds some cool parts like ropes, grappling hooks, anchors and EVA attachable fuel lines and struts...

...There is also OSE Workshop which allows you to build parts in a workshop using resources you have mined and puts them in a KIS container...

...And last but not least Extraplanetary Launchpads which allows you to build and launch a craft from some new launchpad parts from the resources you have mined.

Hope this helps!

More to the point for buildings - EPL will let you launch from *disposable* stakes you hammer into the ground on EVA, which is pretty much ideal for buildings. Walk Kerbal to place you want building, plant stake, from a nearby survey station launch pre-designed building, and now just wait while it's constructed.

I know about KIS and KAS but is it possible to carry such heavy parts to build those domes in the video? Isn't it limited by inventory size?

This is where you could use EPL (Extraplanetary Launchpads) to make and launch a craft and then use a rover to drag it to the right spot and dock it too the main base.

Or a really cool thing which not everyone knows about, is that you could make it in the OSE Workshop and then put multiple kerbals next to the container in which the part is stored and when you take it out and place the part, all the kerbals will be working together to carry it because it is too big for one kerbal.

Again, use the stakes: take the workshop/survey station near where you want the building, put the stake in the ground and then launch the building-craft ( the stake will appear as a launch site ) - it will spawn exactly where you wanted it, no need to drag anything except part containers. That way you can build the whole thing at once.
