HIVE MIND

Recommended Posts

Hello was in the car bored with my brother and wanted to celebrate the new update (1.2) somehow. We thought of cool ideas but this was the best...

how many satalites can you launch in one rocket (you can come back to kerbin to "reload" but no recovering vessel and relaunching off launchpad) please show images for proof of coolness

rules: no hyperedit like cheats / mods

must be on different inclinations

minimum part count for each satalite is 3(solar panel, core, antenna)

If you can return to Kerbin to reload you should be able to launch an infinite number of satellites with a SSTO equipped with ISRU.

you simply launch, deploy your satellite, refuel, reload and launch again.

Consisting of 1722 parts and carrying a payload of 144 relay satellites as well as 3 resource scanning satellites, I now present for your approval the CANUKWorks Polkaroo 102

I have yet to set up the individual orbits of each relay sat, however there are currently 147 satellites in orbit of Kerbin each having independent propulsion, SAS and RTG's which gives the ability to adjust orbits as the need arises ... I also sent 4 Kerbals up and included escape pods onboard (Val has made it down ... 3 more to go)

Very clever engineering, great stock piloting skills, excellent distribution of inclination angles
