Quick 64bit question

I am a returning rocketeer, to the most challenging and fun(as in never boring or grindy) game ever !

Last time I was kerballing was nearly a year ago, and I remember I used 32 bit, because 64 bit was flaky on my machine.

I am about to re-install KSP, should I go 64 or 32 ?

64bit if you have a 64bit OS and >=3GB RAM. It's stable now .

DX11, DX12 or OpenGL ?

(I have 780Ti SLI, WIN10 64bit,3rd gen i7)

Anyone know how to set Steam to run the 64 bit version?  I checked task manager and it looks like it runs the 32 bit version by default and there does not seem to be any settings to go with the 64 bit version.

 

What am I missing?
