Control EC like fuel?

I luv the new fuel flow priority functionality. Anyone know if you can do the same with EC?

The issue I have is running ion engines using a fuel cell. The SAS etc  uses the fuel cell first and an on-board RTG second. This means that on a long trip the LF+O that is supposed to be for the ion engines disappears, especially under warp. There is plenty of power available from the RTG but it seems it's priority is low. 

I know I could turn off the fuel cell before cruising but I usually forget. 

Ideas?
