The only thing "live streaming" were the text characters. And the chat.

Windows Media Player received an update to allow it to livestream... Anyways, that wasn't an official NASA channel, right? Not only that, but it's a talk show too, they're just using ISS footage. Are you complaining about how unprofessional it is or something?

If you look carefully, you'll notice three things:

1) "LIVEStream"
2) 44:41
3) "ahahahahahaha"

I am not compaining how unprofessional that was. It was is very professional.

"By the courtesy of International Space Station:
UStream live Feed From the NASA HDEV live cameras aboard the ISS. Watch the earth roll

The ISS passes into the dark side of the earth for roughly half of each of its 90 minute orbits. As the Space Station passes into a period of night every 45 mins video is unavailable - during this time, and other breaks in transmission recorded footage is shown when back in daylight earth will recommence."

Pretty sure it was a talk show, where they were livestreaming the audio, using ISS footage. Livestreaming of audio is still livestreaming.

You can type the URI shown there. Its still broadcasting (sarcasm)"live" (/sarcasm), but they fixed .... technical difficulties.

Yup, 3 hours passed and same prerecorded "live" stream.

I am gonna go listen to some Live Music. Where is that ogg track? Ah here. Right click - "Play", "Loop one".       Its "Live" music now :)

It's not their fault that filming the ISS at night is useless. Livestreams can technically be pre-recorded and still be livestreams. Try and do a cross check with the position according to some websites.

That channel seems like a fraud. I've never once seem them play anything except the same pre-recorded footage (which was captured during an EVA), even when the ISS is in daylight. When that video was first recommended to me by YouTube the description had commands for how you can rotate/pan the camera on the ISS _in real time_, which also worked with the pre-recorded footage.

That said, it's not a terrible channel, it's just not the official NASA live feed. I won't be giving them any more views, but it's a decent presentation, even with the flat-earther trolling.

It's obviously not an official NASA livestream. The one on NASA's website is pretty cool, though.
