New Eastereggs ?

Hi,

this is KSP 1.2. I didn't play much since 1.0.5, so maybe the below is an old thing. Nevertheless, this concerns a possible new easter egg inside Kerbin's SOI. Since nobody else has asked before, if you have found something new as well then read on.

There is a new monolith "pulsating in a strange pattern", it is not on Duna. Is there something connected with that ? Do i have to get close with some sort of device to find out more ? Or is this just for the "atmosphere" :-) ? I didn't write the exact spot here just in case somebody accidentally opens this ...

A quick search for "pulsating" revealed nothing.

And now I have to send dozens of probes to the Mun and Minmus to find it (hoping its not on Kerbin because I'm not inspecting Kerbin today). Well time to learn how to use comms and KerbNet I guess.
