I am unable to play the game once a ship gets into orbit

Recommended Posts

KSP: 1.2

Problem:

I have a modded installation of KSP and I am getting an error where I am unable to play once I get into orbit. Any ship I try to click that has a kerbal in it causes an immediate crash to desktop. I have included my most recent crash log file. I have plenty of RAM and my video card is beyond able to handle this.

So the question is what is causing this crash and how can I fix it? I have tried reinstalling three or four times in the last 2 weeks and this is always why I stop playing the game due to this crash.

My pertinent system specs are as follows:

i7-6700k

16GB RAM

GTX1070

Mods installed:

Basic Orbit

USI (MKS 0.50.0, Karibou 0.3.0, Konstruction 0.1.3, LS 0.5.0, Exp Pack 0.6.0,)

Mechjeb2 2.5.9.0-642

Mechjeb2 Embedded 1.4

KIS

Kerbnet 2.0

KAS

Flexible Docking 3.0

Final Frontier 1.2.1

EVA Transfer 5.0

DMagic Orbital Science 1.3.3

KSPI Extended 1.10.8

KOAS 1.0

RasterPropmonitor 0.28.0.29319

SCANsat 16.9

StationScience 1.5

The Gold Standard 1.3

Docking Port Alignment 6.5

Reproduction steps:

Build a craft and launch into any orbit and attempt to access once in orbit...then CTD

One of your mods is not updated for the release version of KSP 1.2 (1.2.1586):

MissingFieldException: Field '.MapView.MapIsEnabled' not found.

So uninstall all mods and either add them back one at the time or:

  • Remove half of them
  • Test
  • If the error is gone then add half of the mods that you removed
  • Test again
  • Continue from the step 3 until the problematic mod is pinpointed.

FilterExtensions is also outdated.

Lots of your mods are not updated for KSP 1.2.

To answer both of you guys all of those mods are/were showing that they were 1.2 compliant in their threads and downloads links. I have since gone in and done the suggested with removing and reinstalling one at a time and the same thing is happening again. Need to dig through the mods and the logfile once again.
