That was a long landing though, I tend to leave my lander fall down a bit, adjusting it\'s descent to make it straight etc, and then make a burn to slow it down near surface. What I do probably consumes more fuel though, and I guess I\'m more impatient than you

I tried the same thing yesterday,but I killed my kerbal on the de-orbit burn, cause I left it too late, and he impacted... :S

Yeah. I just managed to jetpack land close enough to my craft to waddle over to it and get back in. Pretty fun stuff.
