KER -- how to use (and settings)

Okay, I have placed the KER in the gamedata folder. What else do I need to do, aside from making sure the button called "partless" are depressed?

That's really all to get started.  However you may want to customize the configuration eventually.  Configuring it can be a task but once you get it the way you like it, you can copy the settings file.  The VAB/SPH screens aren't really all that configurable.  Primarily what you are looking at is the flight screens.   You can choose to have them as a floating window or a HUD as seen here.  There is a default set of information, but there is a ton more you can add by editing one of the windows and adding or removing things.
