I was experimenting with the larger parts and realised i may have something to reach the mun. So i went for it:

considering I had never used the large landing legs, i realised half way to the mun that it would be tricky.

I love when I parked my 1m lander next to my 3m lander how much bigger it was. (And the fact that I almost squished a moonwalking Jeb)

Well i forgot to add RCS thrusters to the thing, and the main enjoyment was watching it collapse on itself in the 10-20 iterations that came before it. The support struts (for before liftoff) break off straight away but it wont work without them :\ lol

If i double the solid boosters then i should be able to return to earth methinks.

Also, the lander most likely has less fuel than yours. Take a look at the fuel left
