Winglets not showing as control surfaces

OK, I'm pretty sure this is not related to any mods, but has anyone else had issues with the AV-R8 Winglet, and the Delta Deluxe Winglet not showing as control surfaces, heck not even showing as lifting surfaces? It appears that the ModuleControlSurface on these 2 parts (at least) are not registering? anyone know what to do to fix it? I've got about 5 planes and 15 rockets that start flipping around uncontrollably since I updated to 1.2.1, and I've flown them all reliably on dozens of missions prior to updating.

I'm running the Near Future suite, Karbonite, Mk2 Stockalike Expansion, EL, KIS, KAS, SCANSat, TCS, Asteroid Day, and relevant dependencies.

 

Upon further investigation, it appears that every stock part which is a control surface is similarly broken...

As you can see, you are not the only one with a similar issue.

First things first, you should try running a clean unmodded game and see if you can still recreate the problem.
