Has everything gotten heavier?

I can\'t land on the Mun anymore, because the one time I have finally been able to land in daylight, I use up all of my fuel before I land so I crash and everybody dies (for the fourth time since .16 came out). My only two logical conclusions that I can possibly come up with for this, is that either the radial engines that I use, consume way more fuel than I anticipated, or everything has gotten heavier.

Engine Isp is 30-60% lower in most cases. Eg: 0.15 and earlier LV-T30, T45, and 909 engines had an Isp of 579 s. The Mk 55 radial engine has one of 330 in vacuum and 280 s at sea level. Size 1 parts are the same or lighter than they were before, though size 2 parts may be heavier.

Given current fuel bugs, you can get surprisingly far on low throttle settings.

Meh... I put on a much larger tank, and pulled it off.

Screenshot/.craft file? How big is your lander stage, # of engines and type? I haven\'t had any issues with the standard command module, short tank, 3 legs, ladder, and 3 radial engines. I just made this video 5 minutes ago to show someone how to cancel horizontal velocity, but I will link it so you can see my TMI stage and Landing stage.

Thanks for the video, but I have landed on the Mun by myself. It seems that you need more than the (now small) LFT to accomplish it. I had to use the half-sized new LFT to provide enough fuel.

Yeah, I know you have, the instructional part wasn\'t for you, it was for the guys complaining about horizontal velocity. I just posted it here so you could see what the TMI and Lander stage that I used looked like. I havent even tried to land with the 1 kerbal command pod, I like the new parts too much I think to even bother. They did reduce the thrust on the 1M LV909 too, so that probably doesn\'t help either.
