Docking glitch is STILL a problem?!

Recommended Posts

So I have 140 hours in this game, mostly modded with Mechjeb and KAS/KIS (no other mods) with no problems for months. All of the sudden ALL of my docking ports no longer respond to the "un-dock" option. There have been no recent changes to my game, no new mods, no new updates, just normal game play. I click, "un-dock", the option disappears, yet the crafts are still docked. I have noticed in these forums that this has been occurring for several versions now. FIX THIS PLEASE! This has essentially killed my save file as it effectively renders my whole space program useless if i can't dock and un-dock ships. YES I am aware that there is a save file work-around, but NO I am not going into notepad and editing code every time I want to un-dock a ship. This is a very serious glitch that needs to be fixed yesterday. I love this game, but this is killing it for me.

KSP version 1.2.2.1622

Even if you're dedicated to playing Stock, you should make an exception and install this single mod:

The undock bug is long-standing and long known. And among all, exactly due to existence of the 'Stock Bug Fix' it's low-priority.

Yes I tried that mod. It didn't do a thing in 1.2.2 The most recent version is the one you linked for 1.1. The GUI shows up for the settings, but it still has no option to force un-dock as advertised, I eventually "fixed" the problem by scuttling an entire fuel station that took about 10-15 launches to complete, and re built it.
