Ive tried launching the game with the USI Kolonization mod installed. It gets to the loading screen and then gets all the way through until it reaches a "flex pipe" part file, in which it then pauses and doenst seem to load it. Does this mean that the mod doesnt work with KSP 1.3?, because ill need to know if i need to downgrade it.

Sorry i mean KSP 1.1.3 not 1.3.

If you go to the Releases page for USI Kolonization System, you will find the latest version at the top. But as you scroll down, you will find progressively older ones.

If you want the best download for your chosen older version, then go and find the entry that contains an update for the next version above yours. In other words, if you want a download for 1.1.3, first go find the entry that says "updated for 1.2.0". Then, grab the download immediately below that one, because that will be the most recent 1.1.3 version.

In this case, with UKS, there is only one 1.1.3 download in the first place. But the above method works for any mod, no matter how many releases it had. It also works for different download sources, like SpaceDock or Curse/CurseForge.

Note that there were a lot of changes between the versions of UKS for 1.1.3 and MKS for 1.2.  A renaming being just one of them.   About a third of the parts were replaced with something completely different, and *all* of the rest changed names and textures.  That's not to mention that nearly all of the deeper mechanics were rebalanced, and a couple were added entirely.

That's not to say the old version is bad - it's very good.  Just be aware that the community docs and help have been completely re-written, and that you can expect *any* ship built with the 1.1.3 version's parts to break if you ever try to upgrade to 1.2.
