My Kerpollo!

If you know me you know I have flew many iterations of the Saturn V and its payload but never have gotten to the Mun and back. The key word is back. Another is Saturn V. I could build one that had much better capabilities but I just didn't feel right. But I have FINALLY done it! After like two years! (don't judge me) So here it is!

It is really slow at FIRST. The first stage can get me pretty much into space. The second finishes it off and gives me my orbit. The third finishes it if not already and helps me get my Kerbin Escape, Mun encounter, and insertion.

Just gotta lower it a bit...

Jeb and Bob then disembark and head off to the surface of the Mun!

Landing was...complicated. As you can see it is dark. And that there appears to be some VERY high and sharp terrain in the distance. I had a pretty good approach. The thing is it was into the side of a hill. That I didn't see. It tipped over and flipped, losing its decent stage engine. I managed to tip it up right though.

I lifted off and ACTUALLY RENDEZVOUSED! (Again, don't judge me)

Now I could of docked but the thing is... To intercept I had to de-orbit both the CM and LM... So I sent them on EVA instead!

Bye Mun! Hopefully the transfer stage will keep you company!
