Multiple Kerbals

I;ve been looking for the last two hours to find out how to get multiple Kerbals doing EVA from the command pod.  I'm sure there is a d'oh! momenthere but I just don't see it.  Can someone clue me in?

You change back to the pod with [ or ] and get the next one out.

Do you have just the MK1 command pod, with extra crew cabins or something? If that's the case, then what you want to do is: EVA the first, then do as Harry Rhodan said -- switch back to focusing the ship with [ or ], right click to select another part of the ship with Kerbals in it, click the "Transfer crew" button, select the crew member, the MK1 command pod turns blue, click the command pod, and then EVA the next crew member from the command pod.
